Meet Your Guides

Tour director and owner, Geri McCann is a 35 year Alaskan resident - living the “Alaska Life”.  After building rustic cabins in remote Alaska, working in fisheries, and living 20 yrs in the "Northern Exposure" Village of Talkeetna, she now resides in the historic agricultural community of Palmer.

With 15 years museum experience curating the Talkeetna Museum, Wasilla's Dorothy Page Museum (working directly under VP Candidate Sarah Palin), and establishing the Palmer Museum of History and Art, Geri has acquired in-depth knowledge and understanding of Alaska's history and culture.  She is equipped with 15 years experience conducting cultural history tours from Anchorage to Seward, and from Palmer to Talkeetna in the Matanuska Valley.  Successful contracts with Holiday Vacations, Holland America, Alaska Guest Tours, Alaska Wild Land Adventures
and Alaska Sightseeing Tours attest to the quality of her tours and business ethic.

Tour Owner, Geri writes:
Mayor Sarah Palin wrote this beautiful letter of recommendation for me. I can say first hand, that she is a great leader, and servers with sincerity, devotion, and intelligence. She is more than equipped to be
Vice President, she has common sense and will bring fresh reformation to our country as she has in the City of Wasilla, and State of Alaska. America needs the Palin "touch" to get it back on track and a strong foundation.
We proudly endorse Sarah Palin as Vice President -- GO SARAH!!!

Lynda Barcome is an experienced tour guide, school teacher and avid dog musher.  She successfully competed in the historic Iditarod "Serum Run" and shares exciting stories of the life of an Alaskan dog musher, and her adventures racing on the Iditarod Trail.

The Alaska Blessing

May your cabin be snug and cozy,
May your fingers and toes stay warm,
May your snowshoes walk in safety,
May God bless you through the storm,
May your life be full and rewarding,
May your dog team never fail,
May you reach the goals you strive for,
Good health and wisdom on the trail.
May the winter winds be at your back,
May the summer sun warm your face,
May your needs be few, your blessings many,
May God fill your life with grace.
